Congratulations to the Cast, Crew and all involved in The Mousetrap!

The Jávea Players production of The Mousetrap closed on Thursday 1st December, after a very successful, sell-out, profitable, eight-night run.

The stage direction and acting was very impressive. Well done Claire, Penny and the cast.

The set looked great, thanks to the design by John Ranger, and construction and erection by our Workshop Team.

The lighting and sound effects were superb. Well done to John and Kjell for the lighting, and to Peter and Paul T. for the sound.

The costumes were most appropriate, and fitted well – thanks to Rosemary.

The props all worked (most of the time – not so sure about the snow), and were always in the right place on the set, at the right time, thanks to Margaret, who was also our ASM, and to Hugh our SM.

Continuity management, rehearsal prompting and stand-in acting was professionally handled by Paul H.

The Box Office was managed very slickly by Karen, and the ticketing system by Peter.

The excellent poster and programme were designed and produced by Roger.

The sell-out nights and waiting lists were mostly thanks to the stirling promotional efforts of Tony, Charlotte, and our Press Officer, Gillian.

FOH did a great job every night in finding seats for additional unexpected audience. Hopefully the booking system has now been sorted! Well done to Claire G and her FOH and Bar team.

Our Studio Manager, Ally, coped well with the Niagara Falls leak from the flat above, and managed to keep our audience dry!

Well done to all, and a special thanks to the “Mouseketeers”!
