Tapas and Titters – Summer 2021

Summer Dinner Show

Cheeky Tapas & Titters directed by Cherry Cabban was our first post-Covid show. As always, the summer show was very popular, selling out within less than a week.
Tapas at Bar Imperial were followed by entertaining performances in two parts, the first was a trip down memory lane to the wonderful comic, satirical world of Victoria Wood, Joyce Grenfell and that extraordinary quartet of opera singers turned comics – Fascinating Aida.

THE CAST

Part one Sketches by
Joyce Grenfell – Roger Brown and Jen Kellow-Ward
Victoria Wood and Fascinating Aida – Pauline McGough

The scene change was cleverly executed by Leigh Patterson, Paul Hunter and Alastair Wallace.

The Second half is John Mortimer’s Knightsbridge. A masterpiece in misunderstandings and confusions that arise when the mother of a girl about to be married puts up a number of dubious advertisements in and around Knightsbridge.
