Pip Utton returned for the third time from 25th to 28th January, regaling the audiences with two new characters. The first was Bob Dylon, supposedly on the night of his last ever concert. Speaking to the press backstage, Bob reminisced about his incredible life – mostly his musical success – but also touching on his love of poetry and art.
Dickens
Dickens was a completely different portrayal, not least because it started with his dramatic death on stage! Pip then worked backwards over the last 12 years of his life. Dickens had remarkable success as a speaker, travelling throughout the UK, and in the US, with his young actress muse, reading excerpts from his novels and making considerable amounts of money in the process.
