Open to anyone who either writes or wants to write, the workshops will cover many aspects of writing with particular emphasis on writing for theatre.
Meeting every two weeks, the six workshops will cover: *Plotting *Creating Characters *Writing Dialogue *Scene Setting as well as exchanging best practice in areas such as writing software and online resources.
Each session will include writing prompts which will challenge participants to write a short piece for discussion at the next session. The workshops will be led by Phil Mansell who has had 12 plays published and has self-published several children’s books. Phil will share his working methods and useful writing tips he has picked up along the way.
